New York, May 16, 2013
Dear Friends and Colleagues:

As you know, I have been writing (see my doctoral dissertation, my five books and numerous letters, short stories, articles, notes and poems…) and, for the most part, I published or should I say, I self-published the following titles:
– L’Enfant Haïtien et le Bilinguisme (with Cidhica and Deschamps)
– Life Goes On, a Reflective Diary
– Evocations of My Past
– Evocations de Mon Passé 2
– Anacaona, Ayiti’s Taino Queen/La Reine Taino d’Ayiti.
I have, coming soon, three more titles:
– The fire that burned my soul: a Collection of non-fiction short stories, articles, notes and poems based on the Haitian immigrant experience.
– Haiti: 1957-2007. Une Démocratie Dévoyée.

– Toussaint Louverture, the Haitian Genius.
I want to keep on writing. However, if I don’t sell the books, I won’t be able to cover incurred costs and pay for new ones. Besides, I want more of you to have the opportunity to read my work.
And so I decided to promote my books and sell them online.
I have a new website where information is provided on the books and their author (Me, of course) as well as ways to get in touch and purchase the publications.
Here are the references:
Telephone: 347-542 9042
Website: http://www.maryseroumain.com (not yet active)
E-mail: marouma07@gmail.com
The books are for sale: buy them, read them, and give them as presents to family, friends, schools, libraries and other institutions. The prices are affordable. You are the ones who make these publications possible.
Cheers, Maryse Noël Roumain, PHD
